We have just stayed first week in April and couldn't be happier. The place is so clean, the staff are really friendly and the food is really nice. when we needed help they sorted out anything we asked, we would definitely return. Great entertainment for kids we would recommend.
This is a lovely little site. Packed with lots of free activities for children. I have been here multiple times on my own with my son and feel completely safe on site.
All the staff from the welcome team, swimming pool, funstars to the supermarket staff and ground workers can not be more helpful!
Fabulous site, we have been to a few over the years and this was by far the tidiest, cleanest and best done out one we have seen. Stayed Friday to Monday, everyone we encountered from the security guard, reception staff, bar staff etc were all super friendly and polite. Swimming pool was very clean and lovely changing area etc. Much better than expected. Fish and chip shop was good, tasty and fresh. Food in the main building was good value and delicious. Fun fair was reasonably priced. Caravan was a deluxe van and couldn’t fault it. It was weekend before Halloween we went and place was well decorated and staff dressed up. Great for the children.
Just been back to golden sands for our anniversary, place still spotless and well cared for, staff still friendly and the deluxe newer model we stayed in, well, i walked in to the caravan and said WOW!, the chip shop is spot on,the food in the bar is lovely,drink wise i didn't think they were that overpriced,amusement arcade is modern and well cared for, not an after thought,will i go back? yes of course,may 13th and then again in september next year,i love this place,well done to the staff all of you,see you in may.
We have just arrived home after 6 nights at Golden Sands. The site was clean and well organised. Our caravan was comfortable and we felt very safe with all expected covid precautions taken. In particular the security staff at the gate were very welcoming and a great first impression on our arrival. We had a prestige home and was very nice, one point to mention , kitchen cupboard handles were inset so to open you had to put finger tips in, impossible with long nails. Didn't use chippy on site as too expensive, Saltys in town fantastic and only a 3 min drive , about 6 pounds for large cod and chips,beautiful.
