Mablethorpe is just south of the Humber estuary and Spurn Heritage Coast, it is a huge sandy beach with activities for the whole family. There are beach huts to the north of the beach and a boating lake to the south.
This is our 1st time with Haven, we had a lovely time. There was something to do all day for the kids so if didn't want to leave the site you didn't have to. Staff were friendly when we spoke to them and checking in. The machines had great prizes to be won. Just wish they were available at the ticket shop. Pool was clean and kids enjoyed the slide, only fault is the changing rooms are freezing when getting dressed so would recommend heating especially as it's coming into the cold season as i got a cold and sore throat. We did have a problem with the heating but it was sorted out quickly would recommend a maintenance staff is on call 24hrs a day as the security guy didn't have a clue and was pressing buttons and i wouldn't mess with something if i knew nothing about it. Enjoyed the pumpkin carving and target shooting. I would ask for more interaction when doing the night time team activity with the kids so they have chance to get a certificate and a prize as it seemed the team challenges were just about the staff and talking amongst themselves. Kids enjoyed the beats bingo as it got them involved and excited to pick a prize. The comedian was funny we had tears from the laughter. I asked for a birthday announcement but it seemed brushed over when he did it and it would off been nice for her to get something. She is going to be 13 on bonfire night and has just come out off hospital as she has been very poorly which i did mention. Like the idea we can order home shopping to the site and they have a bus and a fun little train to use at a cost. Apart from a few little tweaks we would definitely come back again.
